CBD Laws in the United States
CBD is legal in the United States because of the Agricultural Improvement Act, implemented in 2018. This piece of legislation is also known more commonly as the Farm Bill of 2018.
Until the Farm Bill was passed, all cannabinoids within cannabis were considered a controlled substance. The Farm Bill changed a lot of laws in regards to cannabis. The most notable law it changed was the removal of all cannabinoids, except THC, from the controlled substances list.
